Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bryant Smith (ranked 754 p4p, 1147 weight class) and Travis Copeland (ranked 99 p4p, 152 weight class). Smith kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Television - Marquee Moon. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Travis Copeland!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves out of range as Copeland strikes.
Copeland misses with an uppercut.
Smith throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Travis Copeland has been cut.
Copeland on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Smith. Smith obviously looking to wear him down.
Smith lands a head kick. Copeland smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Copeland is rocked!
Copeland gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Smith gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Copeland is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bryant Smith!
Bryant Smith very nearly forgot to thank Brooklyn Apothecary amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
In defeat, Travis Copeland stepped up to the mic, saying 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
