Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bingo Banjo (ranked 25215 p4p, 3803 weight class) and Fabrice Niquelon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fabrice Niquelon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niquelon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Banjo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Banjo swats away the attempt to clinch by Niquelon.
Niquelon shoots for a takedown but Banjo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Banjo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Banjo scores with a sloppy right hand. Niquelon should have avoided that one.

Banjo has closed the distance and engaged Niquelon in a clinch.
Niquelon is trying to pull guard but Banjo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Bingo Banjo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabrice Niquelon.
Banjo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Niquelon's efforts to push away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Niquelon has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Banjo after a bit of a struggle.
Banjo wants to take the fight to the mat but Niquelon manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Banjo has Niquelon pressed against the cage, preventing Niquelon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Niquelon has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Banjo is trying to keep an underhook but Niquelon manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Niquelon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Banjo keeps working.

Banjo wants to sweep but Niquelon has passed to side control!
Niquelon cracks Banjo with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Niquelon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Banjo, who protects the arm well.
Banjo avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Niquelon.
Banjo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Banjo is looking to regain half guard here but Niquelon keeps moving and retains side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Banjo takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Banjo tries to escape but Niquelon is in control.
Banjo is trying to improve his position.
Niquelon moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Niquelon stands up.
Niquelon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Banjo's waist but Banjo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Niquelon off to one side.
Niquelon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Niquelon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Banjo avoids it really well and circles away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Niquelon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Banjo shoots in for a takedown but Niquelon shows good takedown defense.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bingo Banjo will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Banjo gets caught flat footed, as Niquelon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Banjo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Niquelon manages to get himself to full guard.

Banjo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Niquelon is trying to control Banjo's posture but Banjo avoids it.

Banjo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Niquelon takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Banjo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Niquelon can do to turn this around?

I really don't envy Niquelon right now.

Banjo is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Niquelon with him. Niquelon is trying to defend but Banjo has an arm under the chin now! Niquelon grimaces and is forced to tap out!
