Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lehel Bartasz (ranked 556 p4p, 881 weight class) and Alexandros Stamatis (ranked 91 p4p, 137 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bartasz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Manowar.... Stamatis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sabaton - Sparta. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexandros Stamatis!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartasz ducks right into an uppercut from Stamatis.
Stamatis misses with a wild body shot.
A little feinted left hand from Bartasz on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Bartasz looks to clinch
and Stamatis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bartasz catches Stamatis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Bartasz forces Stamatis back against the cage and clinches.

Bartasz manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bartasz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stamatis defends well.
Stamatis is pushing down on Bartasz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bartasz is fighting to maintain full guard but Stamatis has managed to sneak the leg through.

Stamatis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bartasz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Stamatis scores with a jab. Bartasz acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Bartasz wants to clinch.
Stamatis appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

It looks like Lehel Bartasz has been cut.
Bartasz tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Stamatis is able to avoid easily.

Bartasz takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bartasz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A slow jab from Bartasz misses its intended target.
Stamatis lands with a big right hook that stumbles Bartasz - he's out on his feet here! Stamatis follows up with another monster hook that separates Bartasz from consciousness! Bartasz falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Stamatis stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
