Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kazuya Mishima (ranked 2501 p4p, 1942 weight class) and Buster Glover (ranked 328 p4p, 271 weight class). Mishima kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Techno Syndrome Mortal Kombat. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glover bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mishima avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mishima slips a straight right by Glover.
Mishima steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Glover.
Mishima is looking to counter the offense by Glover and move into the clinch.
Glover works Mishima's body with a nice hook.
Mishima throws a hook but Glover blocks it.

Glover moves into range and clinches up with Mishima.
Glover tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

We've been hearing reports that Mishima has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

It looked like Mishima was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Glover.

Glover might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
