Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Lewis (ranked 3129 p4p, 5923 weight class) and Baldur Bergmundsson (ranked 421 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lewis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tops Drop. Baldur Bergmundsson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bergmundsson moves away.
Lewis lands a nice looking body shot.

Bergmundsson has closed the distance and engaged Lewis in a clinch.

Lewis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bergmundsson throws a head kick that Lewis semi-blocks.

It looks like Derrick Lewis has been cut.
Lewis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Lewis thuds his shin into the meat of Bergmundsson's side.
Bergmundsson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bergmundsson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lewis cracks Bergmundsson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lewis has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bergmundsson to stand back up!
Baldur Bergmundsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis drops Bergmundsson with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lewis follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

A less than humble Derrick Lewis misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
In defeat, Baldur Bergmundsson stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well I blame nobody other than myself'.
