Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKinley drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McKinley passes Sanchez's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
McKinley is working for a submission of some sort.
Sanchez regains full guard. Nicely done.
Sanchez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McKinley is aware though and is defending well.
McKinley gets to his feet - Sanchez follows without any prompting.
McKinley tries for a takedown but Sanchez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McKinley is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

McKinley has hold of one of Sanchez's legs. Sanchez is fighting the takedown attempt but McKinley gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sanchez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and McKinley is now in Sanchez's guard. A big mistake from Sanchez there, giving up the dominant position!

Sanchez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McKinley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McKinley has his takedown stuffed
and Sanchez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McKinley's guard.

Sanchez has instead reached around McKinley's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sanchez arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
