Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier DeJesus (ranked 24953 p4p, 4959 weight class) and Maverick Scott (ranked 696 p4p, 556 weight class). DeJesus's entrance music is Fond my mind. A fine choice. Xavier DeJesus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. DeJesus tries to avoid it but Scott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag DeJesus to the ground. DeJesus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Scott throws a series of punches but DeJesus moves out of range.
DeJesus fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Scott on the side of the head.

Scott displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as DeJesus throws out the jab.
Scott misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Scott drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and DeJesus dives on top into guard.
