Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ron Rousey (ranked 1695 p4p, 2605 weight class) and Dosh Oh (ranked 207 p4p, 296 weight class). Rousey comes to the cage accompanied by USA JUDO ANTHEM. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rousey tries to sprawl but Oh drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Oh winds up and cracks Rousey with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Oh looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rousey with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Oh slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rousey clobbers Oh with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Rousey looks to land a left hand but Oh moved out of range nicely.

Oh slips a straight right by Rousey.

Oh takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Oh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rousey was well out of range. Poor timing from Oh.

and Rousey counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Dosh Oh has been cut.

and Oh counters with a shoot takedown. Rousey fights it but they end up in guard.
Rousey is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Oh fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rousey manages to avoid it.

Rousey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Oh.

Oh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rousey swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Rousey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Oh has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
A punch lands to the side of Rousey 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Oh takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oh takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Rousey drops Oh with a straight right hand, right on the button! Rousey follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
