Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between JIggabo Cane (ranked 4114 p4p, 4629 weight class) and Haruto Ito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JIggabo Cane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Haruto Ito!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane circles away from the clinch attempt
and Cane counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Cane wants to pass the guard but Ito is defending well.
Cane is looking to pass Ito's guard but actually Ito recovers to full guard.
Cane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ito swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cane is looking to pass into half guard but Ito pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Ito is in guard.
Cane looking for a sweep. Not yet Cane, not yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ito trying to control but Cane is working from the bottom.
Cane looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ito is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cane working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ito doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ito manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cane is looking for a triangle here but Ito uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Ito wants to control but Cane is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cane is looking to reverse the position.
Cane is working hard here to advance position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ground and pound from Ito seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Cane tries to bench press Ito off him but Ito keeps the position.
Cane is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Ito is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Ito can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cane is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cane sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Cane tries to roll over but Ito keeps him under control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ito looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cane is staying active underneath Ito, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ito doesn't manage to clinch there - Cane circles away.
Cane changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ito looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ito looks winded!
Cane wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ito, who protects the arm well.
Cane is trying to get an arm triangle but Ito is defending well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cane is working to tighten his grip on Ito's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Ito has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cane is really squeezing tight and eventually Ito passes out! Cane breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). JIggabo Cane!
