Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Estes (ranked 5090 p4p, 4967 weight class) and Evan Freeman (ranked 569 p4p, 560 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Estes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Freeman!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman closes the distance and clinches up with Estes, looking for a takedown. Freeman pushes Estes against the cage but Estes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Estes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Estes prevents a takedown attempt there.
Estes stops a takedown attempt from Freeman.
David Estes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evan Freeman.
Freeman goes for a takedown in the clinch but Estes prevents it.
Estes lands with a right to the head.
Freeman wants to take the fight to the mat but Estes manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Freeman has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Estes after a bit of a struggle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Estes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Freeman.
Freeman has Estes pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Estes manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Freeman can't get the takedown.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Estes takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Freeman wants to take the fight to the mat but Estes manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Estes is pushing Freeman up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Estes lands a hook that snaps the head of Freeman backwards.
Freeman has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Estes after a bit of a struggle.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Freeman can't get the takedown.
Estes scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A short body shot lands from Estes as the two fighters clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Freeman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Estes pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Estes is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Freeman turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Estes is looking for a sweep.

Freeman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Freeman is trying to get an arm triangle but Estes is defending well.

Freeman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Estes, who protects the arm well.

Freeman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Freeman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Estes has escaped the position, nice work there.
Freeman wants to control but Estes is keeping him busy.

Freeman has hold of Estes's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Estes seems comfortable defending it but Freeman has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Estes is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Estes is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Freeman couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Evan Freeman!
After the fight, Evan Freeman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
