The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski is looking to chop away at Real's legs.

Pudzianowski motions for Real to come forward. Pudzianowski throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Real checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
An attempted straight right counter from Real misses the target.
Pudzianowski takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Pudzianowski has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pudzianowski told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Pudzianowski tries to stall but Real uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Real pulls guard effortlessly.
Real looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Real is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Real tries to stand but can't do so whilst Pudzianowski controls his leg.
Real trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Real has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Pudzianowski works to full guard.

Pudzianowski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Real is standing up over Pudzianowski. Pudzianowski looks to escape but Real dives into side control.
Pudzianowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Real. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Real seems like he's trying to stand.

Pudzianowski tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Real is able to avoid easily.
Real chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pudzianowski can pounce on him.

Pudzianowski is trying to maintain a safe position but Real gets an underhook and turns Pudzianowski into the cage.

Real breaks the clinch.
Real throws a body shot but no joy.
Pudzianowski tries to work over Real's front leg with a kick but Real checks it.
Real is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pudzianowski can do to turn this around?
Pudzianowski throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
DA Real is winning the standup battle so far.
Pudzianowski walks into a stiff left hand from Real.
Real fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pudzianowski on the side of the head.
Real pounces like a tiger and cracks Pudzianowski with a vicious hook! Pudzianowski is down but not out! Real follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

After the fight, DA Real was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
