Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Danny Sullivan (ranked 3178 p4p, 24556 weight class) and Andrzej Bebok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sullivan comes to the cage accompanied by The Pogues - Streams of Whiskey. Bebok has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Andrzej Bebok told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Sullivan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrzej Bebok!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jorge Garcia and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan pushes Bebok away with a front kick.
Bebok looks winded!
Sullivan connects with an inside leg kick.
Sullivan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Sullivan is pushing down on Bebok's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bebok is fighting to maintain full guard but Sullivan has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sullivan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Sullivan works his way into side control.
Sullivan looks up at the clock and then as Bebok takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sullivan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Bebok really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sullivan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sullivan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Bebok's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sullivan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bebok will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Sullivan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Sullivan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Sullivan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bebok up against the cage.
Bebok is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sullivan jumps guard and drags Bebok to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Sullivan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bebok manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sullivan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bebok for as long as he can get away with.

Bebok misses with a takedown attempt - Sullivan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sullivan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Bebok is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sullivan scores with a couple of nice shots.

Sullivan in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bebok tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sullivan!

Danny Sullivan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
