Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jean Riviere!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riviere tries to move into range but James moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
James moves out of range as Riviere throws a body kick.
Jean Riviere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James lands a glancing blow to the side of Riviere's head.
Nice straight punches there by James. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of James.
James looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nice shot lands for James.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Riviere throws a quick inside leg kick.
James checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
James throwing a counter right hand but Riviere manages to avoid it.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as James checks a leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from James.

and James makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Riviere gets cracked with a nice right hand there by James.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
James ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
James throws a shot to the body.
James takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
James scores with a jab. Riviere acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
James lands a nice looking body shot.

James feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Riviere sprawling to the canvas! Riviere rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can James finish him?!

Riviere is rocked!
James lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Riviere falls backwards - clearly groggy! James dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
