Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Meltdown Miettinen (ranked 3761 p4p, 2917 weight class) and Dmitri Zaitsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miettinen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Miettinen throws a leg kick which misses Zaitsev's front leg but catches the back leg as Zaitsev tries to avoid it.
Zaitsev looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Meltdown Miettinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Miettinen.
Zaitsev tries to clinch up.
Miettinen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Zaitsev has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Miettinen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Zaitsev tries to throw a body punch but Miettinen avoids it by throwing Zaitsev back against the cage.
Miettinen scores with a nice hook to the head.
Miettinen digs a right hand underneath Zaitsev's ribcage. Zaitsev let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Miettinen gets through Zaitsev's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Zaitsev tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Miettinen just stands there and leans against the cage.
Zaitsev goes for a takedown attempt but Miettinen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Zaitsev. Miettinen does a little dance to reset his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Miettinen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
