Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Mmm misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mmm fails with the takedown.
Xxx jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mmm is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Xxx's half guard.

Xxx moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Mmm tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Xxx defends well and Mmm ends up having to push Xxx into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Xxx quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Mmm stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mmm wants it to stay on the feet.

Mmm shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Xxx's guard.
Mmm tries to stand but Xxx is controlling from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mmm shoots in for a takedown but Xxx shows good takedown defense.
Xxx thinks about countering with a body kick.
Mmm looks for a takedown but Xxx sprawls well.
And Xxx counters with a quick kick to the body but Mmm blocks it.

and Xxx makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mmm really felt that one!

Mmm dives in and grabs Xxx's left leg, looking for a takedown. Xxx pushes down on Mmm's head and hops out.
Mmm tries to score a power double leg takedown but Xxx sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mmm somewhat.

Xxx closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mmm's guard.

Xxx is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Mmm wants to stand up but Xxx is controlling him.

Xxx darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Xxx working over Mmm with some ground and pound. Mmm looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Mmm shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Xxx sprawls well. Xxx wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mmm gets slowly back to his feet.
It appears Xxx was looking to counter with a kick there.
Xxx shoots for a double leg takedown but Mmm sprawls well. He's pushed Xxx's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mmm misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

No luck for Mmm with that takedown attempt.
Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mmm Mmm.
Mmm fails with the takedown
and Xxx counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Xxx throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mmm's waist but Mmm gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Xxx off to one side.
Mmm replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Xxx blocks it well.

Xxx gets a takedown into half guard.
Xxx is taking a breather. Mmm says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Mmm Mmm has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Mmm pushes Xxx off looking to stand but Xxx dives back in and keeps control.

Well Xxx has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
