Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eun Jung Seo Jun (ranked 4583 p4p, 3087 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eun Jung Seo Jun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Seo Jun forces Diaz back against the cage and clinches.

Seo Jun pulls Diaz into guard.

Seo Jun is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Diaz defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Seo Jun swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Diaz distracts Seo Jun with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Seo Jun looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Diaz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Seo Jun does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Seo Jun is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Seo Jun working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diaz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diaz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close round but I would say that Eun Jung Seo Jun will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Diaz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Seo Jun has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Diaz has managed to get both his arms back between Seo Jun's legs - danger averted.
Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Seo Jun swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Seo Jun bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Diaz's guard.

Seo Jun thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Diaz wants to stand but Seo Jun has his arm trapped.
Seo Jun gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Nick Diaz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Seo Jun moves into range and clinches up with Diaz.
Seo Jun has Diaz pressed against the cage, preventing Diaz from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Diaz wants to get up but he can't break Seo Jun's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Seo Jun is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Diaz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Diaz's back!

Seo Jun is cranking Diaz's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Diaz! He's tightened the choke and Diaz is tapping out!
