Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Linkavitch Chomofsky (ranked 2188 p4p, 2499 weight class) and Toke Axelsen (ranked 275 p4p, 315 weight class). Chomofsky comes to the cage accompanied by Mastodon - Sleeping Giant. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Linkavitch Chomofsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toke Axelsen!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chomofsky stuns Axelsen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Chomofsky decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Axelsen works his way to full guard. Good work.
Chomofsky not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Chomofsky drops back looking for a leg! Axelsen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Axelsen manages to kick Chomofsky off! Chomofsky jumps back into Axelsen's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chomofsky definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Axelsen is trying to get back to full guard.

Chomofsky can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Axelsen is looking to escape.
Chomofsky is really struggling to control Axelsen but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Chomofsky wants to control but Axelsen has made it back to half guard. Nice work.

Chomofsky is looking for a kimura here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chomofsky in particular looking to stall.

Axelsen is looking to control Chomofsky's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Axelsen avoid being mounted?

Chomofsky is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Axelsen sees it coming and defends easily.

Chomofsky seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Axelsen for as long as he can get away with.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Chomofsky trying to control the action but Axelsen is working from the bottom.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Axelsen throws a body punch but Chomofsky moves out of range.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Axelsen thows a left - swing and a miss!
Chomofsky cracks Axelsen with a right hand to the side of the head.
Chomofsky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Axelsen throws out the jab.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Linkavitch Chomofsky dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Axelsen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Axelsen connects with a right hand. Chomofsky shakes it off.
Chomofsky scores with a jab to the jaw.
Axelsen misses with a body shot.
Axelsen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Axelsen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chomofsky sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Chomofsky scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Axelsen wants to get back to his feet but Chomofsky is dominant here and he's now got Axelsen's back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Chomofsky is working for a rear naked choke. Axelsen is not defending it well and Chomofsky has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Axelsen refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Axelsen's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Linkavitch Chomofsky!
During a confident post fight interview, Linkavitch Chomofsky thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
