Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Larsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smith Bochner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Smith Bochner!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bochner. Larsen shrugs it off though.
Larsen tries to close the distance and clinch but Bochner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Larsen lands a nice looking body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bochner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bochner wants to clinch but Larsen slips to the side
and Larsen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bochner thinking.

Larsen drives through and clinches with Bochner against the cage.

Bochner gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Larsen wants to sweep but no luck.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bochner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bochner controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Let's hope that Bochner has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Larsen looking for a sweep. Not yet Larsen, not yet.
Bochner trying to control the position from guard on top but Larsen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bochner is looking to stand up but Larsen won't let him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Larsen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bochner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bochner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Larsen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bochner, pushing him back against the cage.

Bochner is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Larsen is keeping busy.

Bochner unloads a knee to the mid-section. Larsen lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Bochner tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Larsen just stands there and leans against the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Larsen is looking for a sweep. Bochner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bochner decides to stand up.

Bochner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Larsen tries to clinch up.
Bochner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Larsen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Larsen has closed the distance and engaged Bochner in a clinch.
Bochner changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Larsen fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Larsen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bochner backs up against the cage.
Larsen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Larsen stalks Bochner and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bochner's face. Bochner staggers backwards, shaken.

Larsen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bochner is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Bochner has Larsen pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Bochner pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Larsen tumbling to the mat - Bochner dives into Larsen's guard.

Bochner controls Larsen momentarily but Larsen frees himself.
Larsen stays in close to Bochner's body and controls the position.

Smith Bochner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Larsen looks to score with a jab to the body but Bochner is just out of range.

Larsen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Larsen manages to end up in side control.

Bochner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Larsen.
