Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Van Beaken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Beaken is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Heart Of A Champion. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Beaken misses with a head kick.
Maia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Van Beaken pinned against the cage. Van Beaken gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A combination from Maia does no damage.
Van Beaken throws a sloppy head kick and Maia moves out of range easily.
Both fighters circling a little - Van Beaken finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Van Beaken lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Maia is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Van Beaken lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Antonio Maia has been cut.
Van Beaken lands a head kick that stumbles Maia and the fighters go to the mat.
Maia is rocked!
Van Beaken stands up and waves to Maia to follow him.
Oh Maia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Van Beaken seems to be stalking Maia here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Maia drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
