Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poutine goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Pizziconi looking to score a takedown here. Poutine is defending well but Pizziconi drives through and ends up in Poutine's guard.
Pizziconi passes Poutine's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Poutine wants to control but Pizziconi is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Pizziconi winds up and cracks Poutine with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Let's hope that Pizziconi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Pizziconi wants to work for an arm triangle but Poutine is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Poutine is bucking up trying to escape but Pizziconi cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Poutine is rocked!
Pizziconi loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Poutine scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Pizziconi land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Pizziconi stands and salutes the crowd.

Osmany Pizziconi spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
