In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 7 losses; Muhammad Jabbar! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 3 losses; Michael Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Cruz moves into the clinch successfully.
Jabbar tries for a takedown but Cruz manages to get underhooks.

Jabbar has Cruz pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jabbar pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cruz tumbling to the mat - Jabbar dives into Cruz's guard.

Cruz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jabbar is one step ahead there.

It looks like Cruz might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Jabbar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cruz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cruz's back!

Muhammad Jabbar decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
