Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 19117 p4p, 6239 weight class) and Danny Togo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Togo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Togo!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Togo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Zakrzewski looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Zakrzewski slaps away a takedown attempt from Togo, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Togo closes the distance and clinches.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Togo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Zakrzewski goes for a takedown attempt but Togo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Togo takes the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zakrzewski wants to get back to striking at distance but Togo won't allow it.
Zakrzewski is working for takedown but Togo is calmly controlling the position for now.

Togo tries to land a knee to the head but Zakrzewski blocks with his arms.
Togo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zakrzewski pulls his leg out and moves away.

Togo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zakrzewski circles away.

An attempted straight right counter from Zakrzewski misses the target.
Togo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zakrzewski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

And Togo tries to counter it with a takedown but Zakrzewski pushes his down on his head and steps out.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Togo is defended easily by Zakrzewski.

Togo manages to pull guard.
Togo is trying to keep Zakrzewski in close.
We've been hearing that Zakrzewski has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Togo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zakrzewski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Togo pulls Zakrzewski in close to prevent any damage.
Togo keeping moving, preventing Zakrzewski from controlling successfully.

Togo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zakrzewski defends it easily.

Zakrzewski drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Togo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Zakrzewski has Togo in his guard.

Togo won't allow Zakrzewski to get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Togo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Togo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Togo trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Zakrzewski manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Zakrzewski stays in close to Togo's body and controls the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Togo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zakrzewski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Togo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zakrzewski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Togo somewhat.
Togo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Zakrzewski appears to be looking for a big counter.

Togo closes the distance and clinches.

Togo tightens his grip and picks Zakrzewski up, before dumping him to the ground. Zakrzewski manages to land in guard.

Togo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Togo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Togo is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Zakrzewski to keep the fight standing.

Togo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zakrzewski uses from the top position.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Krzysztof Zakrzewski.
I think Togo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
