PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Stalinovich (ranked 11 p4p, 53 weight class) and Giuseppe Hopkins (ranked 3 p4p, 11 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stalinovich might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hell March. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Stalinovich rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hopkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Oooooh!!! Stalinovich has knocked Hopkins down with a huge combo! Stalinovich steps away and waves a wobbly Hopkins back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Giuseppe Hopkins has been cut.
Stalinovich ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stalinovich was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Stalinovich throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hopkins unleashes a big counter combination but Stalinovich bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

and Stalinovich counters with a crisp one two that drops Hopkins! Stalinovich thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hopkins to his feet! Hopkins is in big trouble!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

After the fight, Giuseppe Hopkins was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
