Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdul scores with a shot to the body.
Adolphus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Abdul dives in and grabs Adolphus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Adolphus pushes down on Abdul's head and hops out.
Abdul scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Gustavus Adolphus has been cut.
Adolphus misses with a shot to the body
and Abdul counters with a one-two to the body.
Adolphus swats away the attempt to clinch by Abdul.
Adolphus half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Adolphus takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Abdul dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Adolphus takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Abdul cracks Adolphus with an open hand slap.

Abdul scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Adolphus doesn't seem bothered though.
Adolphus's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Abdul connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Adolphus scrambles back to his feet.
Abdul buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Abdul tries to close the distance and clinch up but Adolphus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oh Adolphus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Adolphus misses with a jab to the body
and Abdul connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Abdul feints and then cracks Adolphus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Adolphus down.

and Abdul connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Adolphus swings away with a body shot that misses
and Abdul cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Abdul tries to close the distance and clinch up but Adolphus swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Abdul works the jab nicely.
Abdul will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Abdul drops Adolphus with a right and a left! Abdul comes rushing in but Adolphus regains his composure and manages to keep Abdul in guard.
Adolphus not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Adolphus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Adolphus tries to get out of the position.
Abdul wants to pass the guard but Adolphus is keeping the position.

Abdul is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adolphus is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Abdul wants to stand but Adolphus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Adolphus seems to have got his legs back now.

Abdul is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Abdul wants to control from the top but Adolphus keeps moving.

Adolphus is trying to stand and escape. In the scramble, Abdul has locked hold of an arm and he's managed to lock on an armbar - Adolphus taps out instantly and this one is all over!
