Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Hawk (ranked 547 p4p, 573 weight class) and Toby Keith Yrkje (ranked 75 p4p, 80 weight class). Yrkje has chosen As Good As I Once Was as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yrkje displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hawk throws out the jab.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hawk lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yrkje has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yrkje and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hawk sets himself, and Yrkje steps forward looking for the clinch! Hawk avoids it this time.

Hawk lands with an uppercut that bounces Yrkje off the cage and back into range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Ethan Hawk will probably get the nod.

A jab from Hawk finds it's way through Yrkje's defenses.
Yrkje lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hawk crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Yrkje - the referee stops the clock and Hawk gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Yrkje. Hawk manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ethan Hawk.
Well Hawk has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
