Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Roy (ranked 24598 p4p, 5799 weight class) and Miles Lee (ranked 508 p4p, 461 weight class). Roy comes to the ring accompanied by https://youtu.be/42bgsd6wF3Q. Miles Lee struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jayson Roy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miles Lee!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy works over Lee's head and body with a nice combination.
Roy scores with a jab. Lee acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Roy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee.
Roy connects with a high kick.
Roy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the ropes. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Roy rushes Lee and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Lee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Roy uses from the top position.
Roy is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control.
Roy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Roy wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.

Roy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Roy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lee wants to hold on but Roy pushes him away.

Roy jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lee manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Roy decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Roy has closed the distance and engaged Lee in a clinch.
Lee decides to pull guard.
Roy trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Roy with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Lee is looking to sweep but instead, Roy has passed into half guard.
Roy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Lee is not content to let Roy control the position.
Lee tries to get to full guard but Roy has control of the leg.

Lee is desperately trying to improve his position but Roy has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Roy stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Lee tries to keep at a distance but Roy has taken the fight into the clinch.
Roy goes for a takedown attempt but Lee pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lee is breathing heavily.
Roy throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lee.
Lee shoots in and bounces Roy off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Roy has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lee off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Roy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roy off to one side.

Roy gets caught napping as Lee dives in and scores a takedown. Roy manages to retain guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Roy lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Roy wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
Roy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Roy stands and steps away. Lee gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Roy fails with a takedown attempt.

Roy manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the ropes.
Roy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jayson Roy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Roy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lee napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lee can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lee is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roy has hold of Lee's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lee seems comfortable defending it but Roy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lee is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lee is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Roy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
