Leites comes to the cage accompanied by Sunday Bloody Sunday - U2. Mia has chosen . as his entrance music. Thaigo Leites is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mia tries to bum rush Leites with a series of wild strikes but Leites uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mia has a takedown stuffed.
Mia misses with an uppercut.
Nice takedown defense from Leites. No joy for Mia on that attempt.
Mia tries to move into range but Leites moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Mia looks to land a right hand but Leites moved out of range.
Mia misses with a series of wild punches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circling - Mia throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Leites fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mia sprawls well initially but Leites persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mia is looking for a sweep. Leites is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Leites wants to take a breather but Mia is having none of it.

Leites wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mia keeps working.

Leites looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mia wants to sweep but Leites has passed to side control!

Leites working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mia is looking for a sweep.
Mia throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Mia is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Leites's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Leites tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mia knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Leites is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Mia is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Leites's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Leites's back!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Mia cracks Leites with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Leites from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Mia looking to break Leites's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Leites remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Mia will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Mia is persistently looking for the submission but Leites is defending it well.
Mia is throwing shots to the body but Leites manages to wriggle free. Mia pounces on him again and ends up in Leites's guard.

Mia wants to control but Leites is keeping him busy.
Mia is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Leites manages to get to full guard.

Mia passes Leites's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mia working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Mia seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Leites is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
