Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Giant Grizzly (ranked 3847 p4p, 4504 weight class) and Thiago Lourenco (ranked 354 p4p, 396 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Giant Grizzly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Lourenco!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grizzly is looking for a triangle but Lourenco pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lourenco got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grizzly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lourenco has managed to get both his arms back between Grizzly's legs - danger averted.

The fighters circle momentarily. Lourenco darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Well Lourenco has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Thiago Lourenco rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
