Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slice comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Get'em Kimbo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Kimbo Slice has been cut.
A right-left combo lands from Slice.
It looks like Sergei Sagat has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slice tries to clinch but Sagat is having none of it.
Sagat throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slice's waist but Slice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sagat off to one side.
Sagat misses with a combination
and Slice counters by moving into the clinch.
Slice doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Sagat turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sagat manages to end up in side control.
Sagat goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Slice rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sagat's guard! Nice work there by Slice!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Slice wants to get up but he can't break Sagat's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Slice wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Sagat's closed guard. He's half up but Sagat has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Sagat pivots and extends the arm, Slice falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Sagat! Well done that man!
