The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blumreisinger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Griggs counters with a crisp one two that drops Blumreisinger! Griggs thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Blumreisinger to his feet! Blumreisinger is in big trouble!

Griggs throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Oh Blumreisinger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Griggs has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Blumreisinger.
Griggs lands with a big right hook that stumbles Blumreisinger - he's out on his feet here! Griggs follows up with another monster hook that separates Blumreisinger from consciousness! Blumreisinger falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Griggs stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
