PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miami Vice (ranked 549 p4p, 724 weight class) and Ziggy Stardust (ranked 79 p4p, 97 weight class). Vice comes to the cage accompanied by Vice. Stardust has chosen Starman as his entrance music. Ziggy Stardust told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vice throws a leg kick
and Stardust counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Stardust pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vice on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Stardust takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
An inside leg kick lands from Stardust.
Stardust throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Vice's head.
Stardust misses the jab.
Vice was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Vice motions for Stardust to come forward. Vice throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Vice takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Vice seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Stardust lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vice has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vice and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Some bone on bone action there as Vice checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stardust works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Stardust fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vice has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Stardust is looking to slow Vice down with leg kicks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vice lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stardust circles away quickly and effectively.

and Vice counters with a crisp one two that drops Stardust! Vice thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Stardust to his feet! Stardust is in big trouble!
