Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamison Cassidy (ranked 4235 p4p, 3010 weight class) and Larry Lungfish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cassidy comes into the arena with Space Oddity by David Bowie blaring out of the sound system. Larry Lungfish has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassidy delivers a nice body kick.
Cassidy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lungfish throws a lazy uppercut
and Cassidy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lungfish misses with a wild body shot.
Cassidy attempts a counter takedown but Lungfish avoids it well and moves away.
Cassidy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Larry Lungfish has been cut.
Lungfish rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cassidy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for Lungfish, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cassidy feinted with a counter takedown.

Cassidy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cassidy sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Lungfish wants to stand up but Cassidy is controlling him.
Cassidy passes Lungfish's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cassidy tries to pass to full mount but Lungfish defends it.
Cassidy content to control rather than advance.
Cassidy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lungfish!

Cassidy swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Jamison Cassidy really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Conviction logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
