Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Neves (ranked 2583 p4p, 2972 weight class) and Kevin Shinnie (ranked 365 p4p, 400 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruno Neves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Shinnie!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neves throws a right hand that Shinnie ducks under and follows up with a left that Shinnie also avoids with ease.
It seemed like Shinnie was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Neves loads up on a big right hand but Shinnie slips the punch.
Neves fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Neves lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Neves keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Shinnie's efforts to push away.

Shinnie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Neves closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Shinnie's guard.

Shinnie is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Neves is controlling him.

Neves uses his free foot to push down on Shinnie's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Shinnie.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Neves, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
