The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Eggert. Hall does a little dance to reset his feet.

Hall looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Eggert loads up on a big right hand but Hall slips the punch.

Uwe Eggert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Eggert throws a hook to the side of Hall's head but Hall sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Eggert is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hall.
Eggert misses with a jab, cross combination.
Eggert fails to land with a series of punches.
Hall lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Hall throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Eggert stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Hall went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Eggert swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hall lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Eggert throws out a loose jab but Hall uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Eggert goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Hall was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Eggert is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hall, as that shot connected.
Hall connects with a looping right hand.
Eggert is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hall moves into the clinch.
Hall tries to work over Eggert's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Hall swings wildly with an uppercut but Eggert uses good head movement to avoid it.

Eggert pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hall forces Eggert back against the cage and clinches.
Hall lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Eggert backwards.

Eggert breaks the clinch.

Hall clinches.

The referee is keeping an eye on Hall - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Eggert tries to break free but Hall pushes him back against the cage.
Hall doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Hall slips a jab and a cross from Eggert.
Eggert darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hall lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looked like Hall was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Eggert.

Eggert's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hall connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Eggert scrambles back to his feet.
Eggert swats away the attempt to clinch by Hall.
Eggert fails to land with a series of punches.
Eggert throws a predictable looking body shot
and Hall counters with a big right hand! Oh Eggert is in trouble here! Hall follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
