Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miles Lee (ranked 4668 p4p, 4546 weight class) and Andre Silva (ranked 426 p4p, 499 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.

Silva gets tackled into the cage by Lee. Lee maintains the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Lee has taken the fight to the clinch.

Silva has hold of one of Lee's legs. Lee is fighting the takedown attempt but Silva gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lee is trying to control but can't.
Silva is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Lee wants to get back to his feet.

Lee trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Lee flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Lee tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lee is trying to defend but Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee tries to roll over but Silva keeps him under control.

Silva is figuring out what he wants to do next.

A close round but Andre Silva will probably get the nod.

Silva working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Lee is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Silva has an Americana. Lee didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Silva is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Silva hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
