Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Farto Fuerte (ranked 4274 p4p, 6389 weight class) and Captain Tessin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Captain Tessin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Tessin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fuerte is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Tessin goes for a double leg but Fuerte avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fuerte continues to drive forward.
A quick step to the side and Fuerte tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Horrible takedown attempt by Tessin or perhaps it was just good defense by Fuerte, which made it look bad.
