Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Horvat (ranked 3001 p4p, 6081 weight class) and Ma Bong Sik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Horvat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ma Bong Sik!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bong Sik keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bong Sik throws out a counter right but Horvat avoids it with no problem.
Bong Sik steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Horvat.
Bong Sik swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Bong Sik scores with a nice head shot.
Horvat throws a low kick but Bong Sik moves out of range easily.
Nice jab there from Horvat.
Horvat looks to land a right hand but Bong Sik moved out of range.

Horvat shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Horvat was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Horvat tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Horvat has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bong Sik wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Horvat misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Horvat advances nicely into full mount.
Horvat with shots to the head and body - Bong Sik looks very uncomfortable down there.
Bong Sik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Horvat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bong Sik is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Bong Sik sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Horvat is nestled in close to Bong Sik, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Horvat slips a nice elbow through Bong Sik's hands, connecting with Bong Sik's forehead.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Horvat lands a nice short elbow.
Horvat is looking for a kimura but Bong Sik is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Horvat to get the leverage.

Horvat passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Bong Sik!
Bong Sik is in a horrible position here. Horvat smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bong Sik felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Horvat trying to control but Bong Sik is having none of it.
The referee warns Bong Sik that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Horvat loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Bong Sik scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Horvat land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Horvat stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Horvat!
Jack Horvat decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
