Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Distefano (ranked 693 p4p, 912 weight class) and Kazuma Kiryu (ranked 106 p4p, 142 weight class). Eric Distefano has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eric Distefano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kazuma Kiryu!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiryu loads up on a big right hand but Distefano slips the punch.
Distefano throws a head kick that misses
and Kiryu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Distefano feints and then cracks Kiryu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kiryu down.
Kiryu throws a push kick but Distefano slaps the foot to one side.
Kiryu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kiryu scores with a nice head shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kiryu thows a leg kick but Distefano checks it
and Distefano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Kazuma Kiryu has been cut.
Kiryu on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Kiryu moves out of range of the body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Distefano swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kiryu! But no joy.
Kiryu slips under a jab from Distefano.
Kiryu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Distefano throws a body kick, spinning off balance
letting Kiryu counter with a right hand.
Distefano misses with a wild combination.
Kiryu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Distefano misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Distefano throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Distefano looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kiryu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kiryu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Distefano is looking to counter the offense by Kiryu and move into the clinch.
Kiryu goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Distefano has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kiryu.
Kiryu swings for the body but Distefano moves out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Distefano misses the target.
Distefano throws a body kick that misses.
Kiryu throws a leg kick that is checked
letting Distefano counter with a right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Distefano feints a jab promting Kiryu to slip. Distefano then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kiryu slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Kiryu throws a lazy uppercut
and Distefano counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kiryu has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Kiryu misses with a looping right.
Kiryu scores with a kick to the midsection.
Distefano takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kiryu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Distefano counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Distefano cracks Kiryu with a good jab.
That has opened up Kazuma Kiryu's cut even more.
Kiryu throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Distefano was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kiryu darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Distefano appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Kiryu misses with a left hand
and Distefano counters with a straight right hand.
Kiryu scores with a kick to the midsection.
Kiryu tried to score with a low kick but Distefano checks it.

Kiryu throws a front kick aimed at Distefano's knee but Distefano avoids it well.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kazuma Kiryu will probably get the nod.

Kiryu throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Distefano counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kiryu's knee momentarily.
A cross from Kiryu lands.
Distefano is rocked!
Distefano is holding his hands too far apart here. Kiryu throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Distefano is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kazuma Kiryu!
