Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamison Cassidy (ranked 19946 p4p, 24664 weight class) and Liam Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cassidy's entrance music is Space Oddity by David Bowie. A fine choice. Liam Robinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jamison Cassidy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassidy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Robinson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Robinson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Cassidy shoots in and bounces Robinson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Cassidy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Cassidy pushes down on Robinson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cassidy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Robinson is just riding it out for now. Cassidy eventually gives up the hold.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Robinson is looking to control Cassidy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Robinson avoid being mounted?
Cassidy is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Robinson is trying to maintain the position but Cassidy is very close to passing his half guard.
Cassidy works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cassidy is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Robinson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cassidy gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Robinson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cassidy lets go of the hold and Robinson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
