The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hessing on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Azerbaijan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice leg kick lands there from Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Hessing fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Azerbaijan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Hessing fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Azerbaijan, pushing him back against the cage.

and Hessing counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Azerbaijan tries to kick Hessing off in order to stand up. Hessing Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
