Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Davdio Branko (ranked 1178 p4p, 583 weight class) and New Breed One (ranked 70 p4p, 34 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Davdio Branko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, New Breed One!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branko dives in for a single leg takedown but One sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Branko has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but One regains guard immediately.

One working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Branko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Branko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

One wants to stand and escape but Branko is having none of it.
Branko tries to free his leg and advance position but One is retaining full guard.
Branko passes One's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

One thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

One is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

New Breed One dominated that round.
That's time! Branko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Branko dives in and grabs One's left leg, looking for a takedown. One pushes down on Branko's head and hops out.
Branko misses with a takedown attempt - One sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Branko looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Branko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but One swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Davdio Branko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Branko tries to score a power double leg takedown but One sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Branko somewhat.

One is pushing Branko up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

One's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

One gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

New Breed One showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
