Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michael Silalahi!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silalahi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pereira feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Pereira is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Pereira trying to control but Silalahi is working from the bottom.
Pereira scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pereira wants to control from the top but Silalahi keeps moving.
Silalahi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pereira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silalahi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Pereira is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silalahi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silalahi's back!
Pereira is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Silalahi is tapping out! This one is all over!
