Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sandor Samson (ranked 4956 p4p, 5124 weight class) and Quentain Trenton (ranked 607 p4p, 618 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Samson throws the left hand but Trenton avoids the punch easily.
Samson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Trenton moves away.
Trenton gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Samson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A jab from Samson does it's job there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Samson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Samson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Samson lands a left and a right that send Trenton crashing to the mat, dazed. Samson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Trenton is rocked!
Trenton tries to clinch but Samson moves out of range.
Trenton is still on wobbly legs! Can Samson finish him?
Samson tries to bum rush Trenton with a series of wild strikes but Trenton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Trenton! But no joy.
Trenton seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Trenton bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Samson's head.

Samson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Trenton's hands.

The fighters circling - Samson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Samson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Samson loads up on a big right hand but Trenton slips the punch.
Trenton now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Sandor Samson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trenton ducks under a wild hook from Samson.

Samson misses with a body shot.
Samson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Trentons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Samson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Trenton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Samson throws a hook but Trenton avoids it easily.
Trenton let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Trenton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Samson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Trenton avoids the body shot from Samson.
Samson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Trenton takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Samson cracks Trenton with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Samson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Trenton to stand back up!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Samson lands with a good body shot.

Samson drops Trenton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Trenton looks back up at him and smiles so Samson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Trenton tries to get into range but Samson steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Trenton! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Samson scores the big KO victory!
