Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gomes swivels and escapes.
Gomes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Logan counters with a left to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Gomes. No joy for Logan on that attempt.
Gomes lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Logan throws a right hand that Gomes ducks under and follows up with a left that Gomes also avoids with ease.
Logan tries to move into range but Gomes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gomes scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Dimitri Logan has been cut.
Gomes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gomes takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Sloppy strikes from Logan. Those never looked like landing.

Logan throws a hook but Gomes avoids it easily.
Gomes was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gomes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gomes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

and Gomes counters with a three punch combo that has Logan backing up. Logan nods at Gomes to acknowledge the strikes.

Gomes is pressed up against the cage. Logan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gomes down to the mat. Gomes avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gomes scores with a sloppy right hand. Logan should have avoided that one.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Logan catches Gomes with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Logan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gomes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Logan somewhat.
Krom Gomes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Logan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Gomes jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Gomes slaps away a takedown attempt from Logan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gomes lands a big right hand that sends Logan crashing to the mat! Gomes stays standing though and waves Logan back to his feet!
Logan is rocked!
That has opened up Dimitri Logan's cut even more.
Logan darts in looking for a takedown but Gomes gets double underhooks and turns Logan into the cage.
Logan is still on wobbly legs! Can Gomes finish him?
Logan looks up at the clock. Bad move! Gomes lands a right hand from hell, dropping Logan. Gomes pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krom Gomes!
