Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leggo Brandon (ranked 6600 p4p, 5666 weight class) and Vili Makkonen (ranked 700 p4p, 636 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vili Makkonen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon staying out of range there.
Brandon attempts a counter takedown but Makkonen avoids it well and moves away.
Makkonen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Makkonen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brandon.
Brandon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Makkonen.
Makkonen digs a good body shot into Brandon's ribs.
Makkonen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Brandon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Makkonen misses the jab.

Brandon rushes Makkonen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Makkonen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Makkonen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brandon.
Makkonen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Makkonen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brandon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Makkonen.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Makkonen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Makkonen misses with a hook.
Makkonen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Brandon looks to clinch

and Makkonen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Brandon! Makkonen lets Brandon back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Brandon throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Makkonen counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Brandon out cold! What a finish! Makkonen is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
