Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David McDonald (ranked 1488 p4p, 863 weight class) and Darwin Budluvski (ranked 200 p4p, 120 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David McDonald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darwin Budluvski!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald looking to land some kicks to the body here.
McDonald thows a leg kick but Budluvski checks it
and McDonald takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McDonald misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Budluvski.
Budluvski misses the jab.
McDonald pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Budluvski takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Budluvski moves away from the strike by McDonald.
A nice leg kick lands there from McDonald.
McDonald gets a takedown into half guard.
McDonald looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Budluvski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Budluvski wants to get back to his feet.
McDonald in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Budluvski tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from McDonald!
