Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William S Burroughs (ranked 2670 p4p, 3613 weight class) and Keanu Reeves (ranked 382 p4p, 487 weight class). Burroughs comes to the cage accompanied by William S. Burroughs - A Thanksgiving Prayer. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reeves tries for a takedown but Burroughs sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Burroughs is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Reeves.
Reeves jabs Burroughs right on the nose. Burroughs blinks but takes it well.

It looks like William S Burroughs has been cut.
Burroughs misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Reeves.
Reeves fails to land the takedown.
Burroughs swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Reeves fails with a takedown attempt.
William S Burroughs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keanu Reeves.
Burroughs swings for the body but Reeves moves out of range.
Reeves ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Reeves looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Reeves shoots in for a takedown but Burroughs shows good takedown defense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reeves takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Reeves smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Burroughs wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Reeves shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Burroughs sprawls well. Burroughs wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Reeves gets slowly back to his feet.
Reeves has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Reeves shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Burroughs as he avoids it easily.
Burroughs throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Reeves is trying hard to land a takedown here. Burroughs sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
It looked like Burroughs was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Reeves shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Burroughs pinned against the cage. Burroughs gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Burroughs is looking to wear down Reeves with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Reeves looks winded!
Reeves takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burroughs. Reeves does a little dance to reset his feet.

Reeves throws a looping overhand right but Burroughs ducks down to avoid it.
Burroughs throws a right and a left that Reeves avoids nicely.
Reeves tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting Burroughs counter with a right hand.
Reeves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Burroughs's waist but Burroughs gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Reeves off to one side.
Reeves shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Burroughs counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Reeves misses with a takedown attempt - Burroughs sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Reeves has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Burroughs avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Burroughs lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Reeves is still on wobbly legs! Can Burroughs finish him?
Burroughs creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Reeves with a big uppercut! Reeves tries to clinch up but Burroughs pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Reeves to the mat! Reeves covers up and Burroughs unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After winning the bout, William S Burroughs thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
