The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philippe takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hunter, as that shot connected.

Hunter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

A little jabbing left from Philippe on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Philippe's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hunter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Philippe scrambles back to his feet.

Hunter scores with a hook to the body. Philippe takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Philippe counters with a straight right hand.
Hunter throws a nice looking combination but Philippe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hunter dips to his left and cracks Philippe with an uppercut!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It seemed like Philippe was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Philippe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Hunter sends Philippe crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hunter is motioning to the referee to let Philippe up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

The cut above Peguero Jean Philippe's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hunter drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Philippe right on the button. Philippe goes down! Hunter follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Hunter gets the win via TKO!
