The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruzeiro looks to land a left hand but Frame moved out of range nicely.
Frame misses with a low kick as Cruzeiro jumps back.
Cruzeiro lands with a right hand.
A low kick lands for Cruzeiro.
Frame throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cruzeiro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Frame throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cruzeiro throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cruzeiro scores with a hook.
Cruzeiro takes a swing at Frame's ribcage but misses.
Frame steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Cruzeiro. That one must have hurt.
Frame bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Frame misses with a looping left.
Cruzeiro was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Cruzeiro jabs Frame to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Cruzeiro misses with a double jab
and Frame connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Julio Cruzeiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Frame has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Frame tries to move into range but Cruzeiro moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cruzeiro swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Frame.

Cruzeiro fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Frame has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Cruzeiro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Frame manages to avoid it.

It looked like Cruzeiro was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Frame.
Frame lands a jab to Cruzeiro's midsection.
Cruzeiro moves out of range of the strikes.
A jab from Cruzeiro finds it's way through Frame's defenses.
Cruzeiro throws a hook to the side of Frame's head but Frame sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Cruzeiro's corner calls for a 1-2. Cruzeiro obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Frame crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cruzeiro - the referee stops the clock and Frame gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cruzeiro. Frame manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Cruzeiro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frame.

Frame tries to work over Cruzeiro's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Cruzeiro lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Frame backwards.
Cruzeiro lands a big right hand that drops Frame! The killer instinct kicks in and Cruzeiro finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Cruzeiro!
