Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeppe Puska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pate Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeppe Puska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pate Boxer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer moves out of range as Puska strikes.
Boxer shoots in but Puska avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boxer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Puska.
Puska throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Puska throws out a loose jab but Boxer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boxer throws a front kick that sends Puska stumbling back into the cage.
Puska throws a looping overhand right but Boxer ducks down to avoid it.
Puska throws a hook but Boxer avoids it easily.
Puska misses with a hook. Boxer ducked under it nicely.
Boxer fails with a takedown attempt.
Boxer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jeppe Puska has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pate Boxer.
Puska misses with an uppercut. Boxer saw that one coming.
Puska throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Puska gets caught flat footed, as Boxer shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boxer pushing down on Puska's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Puska on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Puska tries to get out of the position.
Boxer is keen to just control but Puska is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Boxer stands up from half guard.
Puska throws out a loose jab but Boxer uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boxer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Puska throws a hook but Boxer blocks it.
Puska is breathing heavily.
The fighters circling - Puska throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Boxer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boxer moves away from the strike by Puska.
Puska misses with a hook.

Boxer closes the distance and clinches.
Boxer lands a body shot in the clinch.

Boxer pulls Puska into guard.
Boxer controlling Puska's posture.
Let's hope that Boxer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Boxer pushes Puska off and scrambles back to his feet.
Boxer throws a combination. Puska tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Puska is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Boxer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Puska.
Puska misses with a hook. Boxer ducked under it nicely.

Boxer has managed to clinch.

Boxer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Boxer moves into range and clinches up with Puska.

Boxer pulls guard successfully.
Puska wants to pass the guard but Boxer is keeping the position.

Boxer is looking for a triangle but Puska pushes his legs off easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boxer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boxer prevents Puska from getting the reversal.
Boxer avoids the attempt from Puska to control.
Puska is in all sorts of trouble here.
Puska is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Puska tries to reverse the position but Boxer maintains control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Puska's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Puska tries to reverse the position but Boxer maintains control.
Puska knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boxer on the ground.
Boxer has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Puska's face.
Puska takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.


Puska is rocked!
Boxer lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Puska hang on?
Oh Puska is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boxer landing strikes, looking to finish!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boxer cracks Puska with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Boxer lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Boxer looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pate Boxer dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Puska throws a looping overhand right but Boxer ducks down to avoid it.

Boxer shoots and scores a devastating slam takedown! Puska is unconscious as Boxer celebrates over his stricken foe!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Pate Boxer!
